Using Insurance Company Logos on Website?

Anyone have any input on how to handle this? Do you need written permission from each company to use their logo? Or is it understood that because you are a licensed agent for them that you can publish the logo on your site?

I assume you need permission. You can be licensed with them and have a porn site. I'm sure they don't want their logo on the site.

Contact the sales desk of the company you want. Typically you will have to send them a link to your site; so they can approve it. I hope this helps.

I have yet to have a carrier want to view my site before approving the use of their logo. Usually they have you sign an affadavit on the rules for the use of it, etc. Aetna, for example has a link to where you sign the affadavit, then give you an HTML link you can copy and paste to your site.

The only carrier I've seen any issues with is UHC. All the other carriers are happy to have their name out there.

I wonder if all of the lead companies, most of which have numerous sites, get permission.
