Vemo Leads

Re: Vimo Leads

I can only speak about my experience. I am one of their long-term customers. Most of the time, they have been decent. For a few months this summer, their affiliate relationship caused major problems. That seems to be a little better under control now.

To cut off leads, I email my rep. Never a problem. Or, you can do it yourself online, subject to restrictions.

I have never had a problem with their return policy. For the most part, I have never had a problem with anyone's return policy...except VIMO in the last few weeks. But, I am confident VIMO will get on the stick again.

With NQ....if you stick to local leads, you'll do well.

My experience with ALL internet shared leads:

You must have an on/off switch with your service.
You must be near your computer when the leads are turned on.
You must have an alert system when a lead arrives (Mobile etc)
You must have extensive product knowledge of the plan you are selling
You must have extensive product knowledge of all of your competition.
You must have extremely good telephone and sales skills.

If you cannot meet all of the above criteria, you are wasting your money.

Assuming that you had already run a "dummy lead" through the system, you will know your competition.
If the lead is genuine, and you are the first to call, there is no reason you cannot make a sale. Maybe not right at that moment, but in the next day or so.
During the phone call let the client know that you sell all of the major plans in your area, so there is no reason for them to waste their valuable time talking to other agents. (This is know as "pissing in the well")
Unfortunately 60% of the leads will not answer the telephone. Even if your caller ID said the "Vatican", people will not pick up. Some went to ehealth and others did not realize that they will be getting calls from every half wit and their brothers. Also it appears that a lot of people think that plans cost more if they use an agent.
Always email every one you cannot get hold of, I often get calls from people who will not answer the telephone but will respond to an email containing my web link and contact information.
Always quote the correct price, even if it is higher than they may see on the web. HBP, smokers etc have no chance of getting the preferred rate, let them know this, it enhances your credibility and set you apart from the average agent who will only quote preferred rates in order to get the sale, only to lose it when the people get rated up.
It does not matter if your lead service is selling to 4 or to 40 agents; if you are quick on the telephone and can pitch a good sales line then the competition means nothing at all.

NB: I have sold a lot of people that it took a week or more to get hold of them, work every lead for at least a week or so. Things change. However at least 95% of my sales are due to the fact I was the first to call them.

PS: Sti is right, evening leads are far easier to get hold of. (They are home playing with their computer)

Our dialer stats have been consistent at 85 to 92% voice mail for years.

Average is 91.5% voice mail.

This is why you should not buy "premium" leads for $10 to $30 - people still will not answer their phones.

Good post though - thanks!!!

If I have someone on the phone I do not need leads coming in....thats what I like about Vimo....can cut them off at a drop of a dime....and can I get NQ leads on the weekend....

See that would not work for me .... I work leads all over the state....I can make more money selling a policy in Houston than Austin because it is a higher prem. area....

Very true, however I am sneaky. If I don"t get a person right away, I call from my cell phone. (Caller ID "Wireless Call) So they have no idea who is calling. Works quite often.

But, it does matter if 4 or 40 agents are calling.

No because if I am one of the first in then I go on to explain what they just did and how thier name was sold to other agents.....then I tell them what I do for my clients and are applying to be their agent now and 10 years from now ......

Sti....I imagine you'll get decent results calling all over the State. I guess it depends on how many other local agents are calling.

I usually stick to a 60-mile radius, but whatever works. You can get NQ leads (or, for that matter...any lead company) any day including weekends.

Let me make something clear...I like NQ...but they are not heads and shoulders above anybody else. I call local leads and ALWAYS request the zips with less than four agents. That may be the key.

Re the 4 vs. 40...I understand your point, but statistically...you will have a lower ROI with prospects who have 40 people calling them vs. 4. That's an indisputable fact. Maybe not a big difference, but still a difference.

Does NQ have in house people selling health insurance for NQ.......as far as the 60 mi deal .....if I am not seeing my clients then does it really matter......

NOT IF YOU CALL EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS......
