Voice is Gone, now what?

Old Maine recipe: Loon Stew.

Take plucked loon and place in kettle of boiling water. Place stone in bottom of kettle. Turn down and let it simmer and parboil for ten to twelve hours.

Check for doneness with a stick. You take stick and poke the stone. When the stone is tender, so is the loon.

This answer might be late, since you've probably gotten your voice back, but, here it goes:

Bring either a laptop computer or a pad of paper with you. Write/Type your words, as you would be speaking. Then, have your prospect read it, and respond.

Only thing is, you need to type/write quickly.
