Wal-Mart Scooter-Rider Gets Rated Down to Monumental's Easy Solution

Wouldn't the adl's question pretty much knock out a person in a wheelchair anyway? Especially at the ages you are dealing with?

not necessarily, I just wrote someone last week with UHL, who was in a car accident 15yrs ago. He didn't need help with anything. Even drive his own car. 59yrs old. No meds.

Actually UHL never says ADL, it only asks if you require assistance to feed, bathe, dress or take medications. That leaves transferring out which would be the major hurdle with the wheelchair bound. All they have to do is be able to bathe and dress themselves which I think many can do. Bathing might be a problem with the poor who don't have a handicap accessible bathroom. I don't think most poor seniors bathe anyway, wheelchair or not. ha

If they are under age 65 then they have a question about being disabled and being able to work so many hours or something like that.
