Websites?

I have a customer base but want to work from home now and would like to be able to have a good site where I can get a feel for the other side of the business.

I am confused on what you want your website to do?

Try If you have never built a web site before, I recommend you use their beginner's tool called Zen Sitebuilder. If you are familiar with Microsoft Word, you will find it easy to do.

Once the stucture of your web site is done, then you can add features such as links to quote engines and desktop sharing.

This looks good too...thanks!

I will want side by side comparisons of plans...links to all my carriers...information about the carriers and my on-line agency.
build quotes after comparisons...etc. I could give you an example but I can't post links till I have more posts.

My own view is that the idea of just putting up a site and somehow making money from it is a myth.

It isn't a myth. at least not exactly. The myth part is the idea that is easy.

How many of us were recruited by a sales manager who gave us the impression that we could make the same money as the top agent in the company? It is kind of like that.

InsuranceWebToday.com offers $100 websites to insurance agents offers really good life agents websites. I got my website from them and know them personally. $100 one time setup fee and just pay hosting from there. Check it out.

Here we go again.

Is this new guy 11's company?

Why don't you just come out and say this is your company?

Nobody probably would mind, but for some reason you always seem to have to do things in an underhanded fashion.

I'm beginning to wonder if your not related to the Marketing Campaign Solutions guy.

Same tactics, same ethics. Neither of which are good.

I use a wordpress blog for my website, it is easy to learn to use, and it is free. I just put quote links to my health carriers and it works great.

you can check it out at healthinsurancedirect.wordpress.com
to get a look at what you can do on your own.

It is not real high tech but it gets the job done.

The company is Griffin Web Design owned by Mike and Kelly P. Try calling that company and asking them if I own it so they can laugh at you. I do know them, cause they made all of my websites. They do great work.
Here is their info,

Anyone can see on that website that is not me on the videos and where it says who the company is, that Is not me.

I find it funny how your always trying to attack meor to prove me wrong. Anyone can see why your own this formum, trying to attack other to make yourself look better. I am in insurance agent and Insurance IMO. I wish I had the talent to make websites on my own.

I also recommend doorhangers.com, which I don't work for and several other companies, which I will save you the time and go ahead and tell you that I don't work for.

Honestly, you're attacking the wrong guy. Mark has been quite open in sharing marketing information and never asked for anything in return. He's also never tried to hide the fact that he's a marketer.

If you have some proof as to your allegations, please post them. It's easy to accuse.

Also, note the highlighted error. It makes you lose the credibility of an incorrect post when you don't use the correct word. It's you're not your. Send me a PM and I'll 'splain the difference.

Mark has been an open book on this site and has helped a number of people, including myself. Noone is forcing you to read anything he writes or to do anything that he suggests. Knowing Mark, if you were to contact him, he'd probably be willing to help you, too, even though you stoop to question his ethics.

For full disclosure...I am doing some business under him. I brought it up, first. I have no problem with someone making money off of me when I'm making money off of his ideas.
