Wellcare paying no commissions on pdp’s

I’m just saying no more call recordings for local agents only call centers, no more disclaimer, no more 48 hour rule.

Then with ACA no more having to read verbatim disclaimers when submitting apps.

I also receive at least 10 robo calls a day to my biz number but it’s always a dead line. No is there and I can’t call it back if I miss it.

Not happening

Hilarious to think that the commercials and phone calls aren’t bad right now. I get a few calls a day from my clients asking about that flex card or grocery benefit. Clients are getting over a dozen calls, easily.

Phone recording, 48 hour rule hasn’t slowed them down. It only makes it tougher on the little guys.
Hopefully Trump ends the over regulation. At least it gives us a fight against the call centers.

I went from getting a half dozen calls a day to about 30 or 40, literally , I have to have my phone on silent now

this is from inquiring on time to see if the call centers do the disclaimer a year or so ago

and no they do not by the way

Trump is back baby! My optimism in this great nation is restored! Now get in there and rid CMS of all these bureaucratic jokers and sh*tty regs.
Why do you have any reason to think his administration will help our commissions?

First, it’s hard to take away something you’ve given seniors ($2k cap, much less in MAPD).

Second, the current administration is the one that tried to change the rules such that plans couldn’t play the commission games we’re seeing right now.

If you’re a large NMO/FMO, those rules would have pinched you. If you’re an independent agent, it would have been very helpful, and there’s very little to suggest the new administration will do much to help those businesses. At least not with respect to comp.

I’m not claiming to support either of the candidates. I’m trying to point out that all sorts of people are assuming a new administration will fill our pockets with lots of money. That’s unlikely, and there are scenarios in which things might get slightly worse. That’s balanced by hopefully not having so many administrative rules.

For ACA brokers, it’s more of a mixed bag. A few reasons to think the new administration = more cash and a few reasons to think either no change or a bit of a negative change. The biggest winners would be agents who sell the crappiest of the fixed indemnity plans.

For at least 15 years, CMS hasn’t been run well. It’s been a sh-t show no matter who was in the Oval Office. Sucked with Trump, sucked with Biden, really sucked with Obama. I have little reason to think it’ll change next year. Very frustrating.

I’m worried he’ll just loosen ALL the regulations. Fact is, the call centers DO need these rules. They need MORE rules. It’s that the little guys (local, independent agents) are caught in the crossfire and need to be exempted from many of those rules. We’re not the problem, and the rules disproportionately hurt us. It just makes things worse.
