What % Are You Paying Your Producers?

I'm trying to gauge the what a fair amount is to pay the producers we are bringing on. It is going to be commission only.

What % are you paying them and what are you providing them? Leads, support, training, etc?

70% new 30% renewals. Commission only. Producer pays fees to be appointed with individual companies.

60% new and 50% renewal. We provide all back office support, software, etc. They generate all of their own leads. If leads are provided... You are an account executive and not a producer. AE's makes a salary and a bonus based on retention and new business.

We are 60% new and 40% renewal. We are a small agency, approximately $3.5 Million in Premium, and growing rapidly. Most other agencies around us are paying 70% new and 30% renewal.

We do not pay for leads nor do we pay for producer expenses.
