What company did you use for your personal Life insurance?

West Coast Life - Super Preferred 20 year term, large face amount. Banner would have been fine too but I am not appointed with them. F&G Value Select was also close.

Actually said to me during a sales presentation: "I don't need life insurance-my family might, but I don't." (He had three children under the age of 5)

I wish I could write a personal policy on myself-am unisurable, and will be for a few more years unless the cancer comes back. But the date I can write myself a policy at a less than obscene rate, I'm all over it. Our head underwriter told me that I might get a policy but heavily table rated, and I still have to eat. I do have 250K in group coverage, and my baby is at college, so things are not entirely bleak.

Ok I'll chime in also...My VUL is with MassMutual(750K heavily overfunded) and I have a term policy with Pru for 5mil.

Why?

It appears that the top term companies (AIG,Banner,GE,...) are fairly the same.

Hence, like to know what you folks chose for your own insurance needs?
