Once had offices in 6 states. Worst mistake I never made was hiring a qualified but very attractive secretary - will never repeat that mistake.
THe best way to recruit agents is to buy list of insurance agents. Mail them a postcard offering them training, leads and great products.
This is the best way of doing it.
My network has been the most effective and I have tossed out some ads on Craigslist. Some of the larger sites like Monster can be very costly. Does anyone else have thoughts on this?

It is very easy to get list of insurance agents per state per company with all their info.

I tried this.Bought the list from DOI in Ca. Sent 400 post cards, recieved 3 responses, and hired none so far.
I offered training 65% on new 50% on renewal.
