The best way to recruit is to run the other way.

I've spent the last 11 months paying back $25k in debit balances - $15k from recruited agents.

On the P&C side it is paid as earned. I don't get hit with chagebacks due to rookie mistakes.

Where I am it depends on the carrier but most of my commissions are advanced.

It's not rocket science. Just treat your agents the same way you want to be treated.....honesty, good mentoring, plenty of leads, etc.

I agree. Also, how many agents can afford to not have the commissions advanced? I know I could not have done that my first year.
