I didn't take it as it being aimed at you, but maybe it was. All I knew is that the response sort of seemed like one of those, "Oh, you want childish, I'll show you childish" type of things.

I still have to agree with him though, at least for the most part. It's one thing to have fun on here, but many times it goes way beyond that when it doesn't need to. I've been guilty of it as well, but there are some on here that just wait for something so they can attack. If I'm not mistaken that is called trolling. I took me a while to understand exactly what that was, but I have been able to see that there are and have been many trolls on this forum.

When is fun no longer fun? When you hurt others, that's when. And for others that are reading this, don't come back with the old "thin skin" comment. That's old and been way overused. Most use it now as a justification of themselves being a bully.

Now, whoever falls in the category of being a bully, then I'm sorry for you, but it's time that somebody says something and actually does something about it. I'm not sure what we could possibly do as this isn't our forum, but I for one am tired of sitting back being silent about it. The moderators can certainly do something about it....if they will. If they don't, then they are just as guilty as the bully. Yep, I said that! GUILTY AS CHARGED!

There are so many agents that don't come on here anymore due to all the bullying that goes on and is allowed to go on. So, not only do we have agents on here (and maybe some non-agents) chasing others away, they are getting away with it. It makes me wonder if the mods even care anymore. They certainly should know that participation is at a low point because of this.

I agree. I have made some good contacts with some very knowledgeable people via this forum however many of them no longer participate here due to bullying behaviors. New people come here with questions that they are seeking help with. While some of those questions may seem silly to people who have been in the industry for years, they aren't so silly for new or potentially new agents. Plus, it doesn't make the insurance industry appear to be very professional when we make replies talking about people's "nuts", basically telling people their questions are stupid, belittling people, etc. We aren't 12 years old. I still find good information here but I often find myself sifting through ridiculous, child-like behavior to find it. I can understand it happening occasionally, but there are people who seem to make it into a job.

Bullying? Dudes - this forum has had Cracker Jacks on it since 2008 when I joined.

This thread is a funny thread - get your panties unwadded and put up the fists and defend yourselves from Bullies . . .

Since FEX has left, I actually think its gotten better.

Daviso came on not long ago, on the attack, but other than that, I think its been pretty civil, compared to whats its been.
