Where is all the MA call center TV commercials?

I usually have either cnn, msnbc or fox news on during the day and last AEP i would see non stop tv ads even before 10/15 especially in Florida because of the years round FEMA SEPS.Have they cut back that much? I am sure having to compete for TV ad space with the political ads doesn't help but i still see ads form UHC,Humana and Wellcare.

I haven't had cable TV in 4 years now, but that would explain why I have been getting less calls this year about all the "free stuff that I have been missing out on"

all of them are finally trying to be financially disciplined, and they’ve got enormous books they need to defend. Also, the Joe Namath guys went bankrupt.

Maybe due to the stricter TPMA rules, making it harder to sell/share lead info?

That's what i was thinking but the outbound telemarketing level seems to have increased so not sure if that is because the call centers that employ them are trying to squeeze all they can out of PTC they have left for 2024 plans or if they plan to transfer these calls as "inbound calls " to the call centers.

You won’t see very much until after the election. For us, we work all the people we have talked to through out the year that gave us consent to contact, the people had no need to change til AEP or had no SEP, our current book for people who may need something different, and referrals. I have had no need for any inbound calls last month or this month. I still wrote 20 plans last month without a single inbound. This month I have been able to set 23 appointments for day one of AEP and have them all complete except for the enrollment portion. You will see the flood gates open after the election. Advertising costs way too much right now. I wouldn’t condsider my company a call center though. Our leadership and QA doesn’t put up with all that slimy stuff you hear about call centers doing. We adhere to all of the strict CMS and TPMO guidelines. People who don’t usually don’t last very long with us.

2 things... they're not going to really start until they can actually do something... so around 10/15. Also, media buys are very tight right now with the elections, so the costs are high and availability is usually very tight, so you may see less until after 11/5.
