who do you guys use for marketing organizations and why?

Bob:

I'm puzzled about a statement you made.

"Rick and I are in the process of doing seminars throughout Atlanta, regarding Medicare Advantage. Though most people may think this is the wrong time to do it, I believe, and he agrees, that now is the time to set your plate for November."

Can't you sell Advantage plans year round in Atlanta?

Yes you can, but it is the LOEP, and your options are not as great as they are, come November 15. You can still sell SNP's, Age-ins, those losing group coverage involuntarily.

Hey SMAN. In indiana we don't get paid or more than 6 or 8 years off of a supplement. I think fraternal companies I can get lifetime renewals but thats it on med supps.

All of my Great American contracts are direct except for the LTC; that one is through AIMS.

Great American gave me UTA, Loyal American, CGI, Provident American & Security life as direct contracts.

It's nice because I don't deal with an FMO... some are good but many suck! If I have an issue, I've developed a couple of good people in different departments that I can call and get help from.

I picked up Monumental Life via Premier Senior Marketing; I like them. The girl I work with there is very nice, knowledgeable and expedient. I wonder if she's cute too?

I've also used Best Marketing - Calvin Sulak, and I'm not impressed with the service.

Marketing Organizations

If it is anything Senior, MS, MA, LTC, Final Expense, Annuities you cannot go wrong with Senior Market Sales in Omaha, NE.

Make sure you call Omaha, there is a knock off that call themselves Senior Market Service our of Columbia MO and another called Senior Market Distribution out of Clearwater that go by several names to mimick the creditable.

Details Super chief?

I like senior marketing specialists out of MO. I beleive that is the knock off rmalcom was stating. Senior market sales has a united world contract that pays the lowest commission have found. I dont see what they have to offer.

Super chief. Do you feel comfortable writing for those med supp companies through Great American since thier underwriting is easy for any unethical agent to write anyone a policy?

Well, let's see. I don't write any Med Supp biz for CGI because of that reason, although they've tightened it a bit. I place very select Med Supp business with UTA, for similar reasons (they've also tightened up the UW). When Boesch had hold of UTA as an exclusive he somehow convinced someone to accept insulin dependent diabetics. Hence some of the ugly increases on C, G & F in the last couple of years. UTA does however have good H, I & J Plans that were just released in the last 18 months. I like those alot, but I push Loyal American mostly. I was fortunate enough to slip into the cracks with Loyal's med supp to still have the ability to market it even though it's "shelved". Even though the commish is a bit reduced from standard med supps, the rates are unbeatable and the underwriting is solid. I have plenty of confidence placing business with Loyal. What I don't write with Loyal I use either UTA, Provident or RNA depending on situation.
