Who is Miesse and Associates?

This forum is so funny. Someone ask's a legit question and gets travel tips instead?

Sunny...the ad is strictly looking for telesales agents as some agents look for that and that is what they are hiring for. But they do offer field sales also. You can do either one or both. The ad is ran through Zip recruiter hence the reason when you click on "contact us", it ask's for your resume. It's the way Zip recruiter does it. Not the agency.

Stanzy...come on man. You out of all people on this forum usually have great insight and thoughts? No, they don't do assignment of commissions and the comp STARTS at 95% with them and that's only if you're on the lead program. If you're wholesale it's much higher.

JD...remember, you're only hearing one side of the story. You're only being told what EFES what's you to hear and know. Right now, they are on what we call "damage control". lol It was a good run for the Miesse Group, the O'Connor Group and myself and our agents. It just wasn't going anywhere. There comes a time when you realize the income potential only goes so high and you have to move on. You...you're doing fantastic and that's awesome. EFES and you fit well with each other and I say that with respect. Everyone has their nitch and fit somewhere. We didn't fit with them. You can agree that their model has changed drastically over the last few years.

Contrary to what is said on here about SL, our agency has used this model in the past and we were all very successful. We thought making the change to an IMO would take us to the next level and it didn't. So, go back to what was working as they say. The app is easy and quick. And it's funny but actually their products aren't high like everyone says? Their preferred and super preferred are a few cents off of Oxford. Their Easy Issue and GI is about the same as Ultra 3?

Sunny...what I learned a long time ago was to ask questions. But always rely on your own investigating to make your own conclusion. SL isn't right for everyone nor are other companies. But, you have to go straight to the source as well as ask the field. Then, your gut will tell you where to go and what to do.

Like Kenny Roger's said...you have to know when to hold them and know when to fold them.

I hope this helps? Good luck Sunny!

Formerly with EFES. Now trying the telemarketing FE with Senior Life.

If you want to be a telemarketer with them check with Greg right here at the forums. Same deal, except he is not new to the senior life game.

JD, thanks for the endorsement.

I didn't hear anything about this from anyone at EFES. I didn't know you had left EFES until I read it here at this forum.

If EFES is in damage control by not saying anything, then they are in damage control.

Are you saying that O'Connor has also left EFES? That's news to me as well.

I don't get into the politics of any organization. That's probably one reason I don't recruit. I don't want to play that game.

As for Jeff meise, I only know him by reputation and that reputation is sterling and he is a damn fine FE agent. How he is as a manager I wouldn't have a clue.

Good people have left EFES before. Tim W. was not only the best FE agent I've ever known, he is a very good friend as well. His going to Securus can only help Securus.

It is still my opinion that EFES is the best system out there for the producing agent that wants to do FE fulltime. Maybe their management system is not the best for recruiters? They have mentioned to me a few times that I should recruit and trian agents and I always refuse. That is just not my cup of tea.

Good luck in whatever you do. I don't have any ill will towards you. I hope you and Shara are doing well and I know that you can go back to personal production and kick ass if you so chose.

Jdeasy...thank you. I've actually know the Powell's for many, many years. I wrote for Lincoln for years before coming to Equita. I just wasn't under the Powell's. But now the Powell's (Senior Life0, finally pulled away from Lincoln and our group with Equita just went stale. So, the timing couldn't have been more perfect. Most all of my agents and managers are all former Lincoln agents. They love the product and program. Just didn't like Lincoln. The phone sales deal "was" completely different. But, I didn't get into management by chance so many years ago. I got into it because I could always jump somewhere and take any lead and just make it work or sell. Had to. No other way around it. So, with SL's program not being lic'd yet in my state, I took to the phones. First week was rough. Now...it's a piece of cake and I actually love it as do a lot of my agents. In fact, right now, I would say 75% of our business comes from phone sales.

I actually was called out by one of my agents regarding a post I have on here. Like so many other's on here, my post about phone sales was based on hear-say and ignorance. I since have eaten those words. But I will say 2 last points...1. Phone sales is ONLY done really, really well with the right type of lead. Very hard to sell with a direct mail lead. TV...easy. Super easy. 2nd...I will always be and believe in field sales as it's in my blood and has been for 11 years.

Just have to learn to adapt. Take it easy boss!

You're right, TV leads are the gold at the end of the rainbow.

Thanks, TD. Yes, this helps a lot. So does your next response.

I to used to diss phone sales. But the support, training and leads I have gotten at Sr Life our fantastic. The best thing about the company is they actualy care about there agents. I have been in the buisness for a while and this was the best move I have made.
