Same reason the agent across the street was crossing at the same time. Better prospects.

to avoid approaching their friends, family, businesses & referrals to talk about life insurance & thus, the reason about 95% of life insurance agents fail.
Too chicken to talk to people about death, so they cross the road in heavy traffic, risking their own life, to then try to type up a catchy life insurance story on facebook or instagram to get people to call them instead of having to approach people.
