The one error was the 2 letter state of birth was one letter off. They are asking for a birth certificate, not unheard of, but form SS-5 turns out to be the app if you have never had a Social Security card. Parents (deceased) Social Security numbers are included as required information.
Then the link on Social Security in general about SS questions asks if the address needs to be updated. A much simpler process.

The Medicare T65 app has already been lagging since 12/8/24 e-app submitted online. January birthday, not collecting SS income, accruing medical bills. Call today revealed all this, all previous calls were "it's in process". A letter about this was mailed 3-4 days ago. Client has to reset their online account password to see it. All in a day's work.
