Wow, that's very cool, she means she won at the casino. I was also in Las Vegas and played a lot in the casino, but I noticed that the dealer very often deceived me and other players at the table, namely, he had cards in his sleeve and as soon as I had a good winning combination, he immediately changed cards and I lost with other players.

Why on Earth are you rambling on about a thread that's six years old? The woman tripped and fell, what does this have to do with you winning bitcoin nonsense?

It's hard to believe such stories. I've been for a few times in Vegas and all these stories were launched in public space by casinos to attract more people. Don't believe all the lies.

Do you realize this thread is eight years old?

I will preface this with the fact that I'm not familiar with the specific details of the case, but.... seems like a pretty high settlement for a trip on a speed bump!

We don't know the extent of her injuries, her age, how it impacted her then current and future employment, etc.

In 2017 the Nevada Supreme Court upheld the award and noted that the district court found her 20% at fault and still did not consider the award excessive.

Harrah's Laughlin, Inc. v. Swanson | No. 56912 | Nev. | Judgment | Law | CaseMine

Yeah, I know, old thread. Still worth commenting on.
