Would You Call This Agent ?

It's a good ad, period.

I'm sure he appreciates your opinion but his original question wasn't if the ad was good, he asked: ... would you call if this was a local agent in your town?

When I answered I said "I wouldn't". That doesn't mean that the ad isn't a "good" ad or if I thought others would answer it. I simply stated why I wouldn't.

My question to you is the same as his, would you personally answer that ad. I would be surprised if you said yes.

You don't appear to be the kind of person who would do that. I would assume you have done adequate research on your own and are confident you are getting the best deal for you personally.

I may be wrong. If so it will be the first time this year. :D

Results of the last one I came on and asked for critique on...day 1 insertion in paper cost $275 - 32 incoming quote requests in day 1 converted to 14 initial contracts by week two/three. Others are now in the system to be tracked, requoted, solicited on future renewal dates. Total revenue excluding cross sells/referrals etc was $1680 first year. Estimated lifetime value=$12,432 for one insertion. Ad has been inserted three additional times with good results as well.

The critiques have helped me pick up on some areas that needed "touch up" work, for that I am grateful.

On a side note, As I typed the word insertion the thought of "Moonlight" came to mind...can anyone help me with that;)

IMHO the copy appeared to me to be similar to the hype ad that says a truck driver sold of annuities. Too much hype for my taste.

Please don't tell me that the truck driver didn't become wealthy overnight. I just bought a truck so I could get rich. Damn, now what do I do with this new Kenworth?

Yes I would call the ad. If I was looking for the best deal I would call his ad as well as others. A good ad would compel you to call, a bad ad would compel you Not to call. As his post above states, this ad was a success just as I said I thought it would be in an earlier post on this thread.

Sorry you were wrong, I am too (maybe 2-3 times per year).LOL
