Loved that car. Brother-in-law had one when I was a young. I would sit in the back and pretend to be a gold fish!
More glass than the Crystal Cathedral!

Don't be dissin' my Pacer! The strut's were gone, so it usually bounced over most bumps. The only other time I felt a bang like that in that car was when I hit a dead deer. (It was lying in the road on a dark night, and I spotted it too late to brake or swerve.)First of all, a pebble feels like a speed bump in a Pacer...Second, you won't hurt a sanke by running over him unless you lock your brakes and skid across him.

Seriously, that snake looked as thick and long as a boa constrictor. I might have thought that's what it was except for the color.
Yelp... Dispatched a few snakes that way..First of all, a pebble feels like a speed bump in a Pacer...Second, you won't hurt a sanke by running over him unless you lock your brakes and skid across him.

Nice restore! Mine was a '77, so it was a little more spaceship-like! I always wished that I'd had the money to keep mine going after the country roads on my debit wore it out. I knew the Pacers were going to be collectable, especially after Wayne's World came out. I've never seen one in that shade of green, though. That's even uglier than my "Great Pumpkin"!Here is one for sale that certainly would be unlike any you have driven before.. only $39,900. Click he show more pitchures link at the top of the page..
1979 AMC Pacer | My Classic Garage
I was trying to handle a case by phone today from a company home office that's local to me. The client went ballistic when I asked about criminal record, saying it was none of my business, and yelled at me to get off his phone! So I did!
Five minutes later he called customer service and threatened to come up there and shoot me! I wouldn't worry about it, except he scared the home office people, who then pulled up his record. He's got violent crime convictions in 3 states! So the police were called and they "documented the threat." Like somebody said earlier, "It must be Tuesday!"
I wonder what would've happened if we were F2F. Makes a good case for telesales!
