What our government doesn't get is there are many young and healthy people who do not care about having health care. They are all bent out of shape when they have to pay $120 for a office call and prescription for a cold they can't get over. They will not go for paying $200-300 a month for health insurance.

xrac, they're targeting K-12 kids, not 18+.

18-26 will be covered under parents (and in the risk pool, which is the goal) and 27+ year olds are far more likely to purchase insurance than the younger group, especially when it's a part of their life they're used to.

This campaign is to use children to pester parents into enrolling. Questionable tactic, especially when there is a million-dollar price tag.
