It can be done.

If you are selling group health you can get there within a 5 year goal of selling small groups. You would need to write about 50-75 groups. I have heard of some guys hitting that goal in 3 years but they had connections with decision makers.

If you selling individual health you need to be busting out sales almost everyday of the work week.

I sell both and it has been a grind for the last 10 years but I have reached my goals. The only way I have been able to do this is to have a high retention rate with my clients.

But I Need At Least 200 Week To Eat.

It is also tough to start in this biz if you don't have a few dolla's to tide you over. If you need X amount per week, then you need a JOB... That JOB might be in Ins, but with a captive company. There you will make a much smaller amount of income... but start there, learn the craft, then go for the BIG $$$ later on...

The other thing is this... IF you really want to succeed, which means you want that as much as the air that you breath, then you will do what it takes to get there. That might mean having a part-time job, or two part-time jobs... no excuses, it can be done. We can do anything temporarily.
