150k a Year ?

When I first started in life insurance my goal was 10 appointments a week and 2 sales a week. I knew that if I was closing those two every week that I was paying my bills and putting some money away, but the secret is to make those 10 appointments every week without fail.

Once you start making money you can hire someone to make those appointments for you and you can make more sales. If you are paying someone $10 to do your calling and appointment setting you can certainly make that $400 back every week in increased sales.

I gross about $900k and net $26k
What type of insurance are you selling? Do you own an agency? Also how do you suggest an agent to get a mentor or find a agent to learn from if you are independent and work from home?

somarco,

if you wouldn't insist on driving to meet with every lead you buy, you could probably cut into thos expenses....

Thanks for you prior help
What type of insurance are you selling that you don't have to sell face to face? Health?

Good point.

I just pop in an 8 track and listen to Wild Fire which makes the drive so much more pleasurable.

Question is, what's the trick to getting 10 appointments a week?
Really? Thats easy, just get the leads and work the phone 1 day a week, and 4 appointments a day 4 days of the week, thats 16 appointments each week without stressing yourself.

Rbrewer,

Someone will probably prove me wrong in two minutes, but I have not encountered mustard based bbq in Georgia. I thought that's what you SC people ate. i.e. Shealy's BBQ in the Batesburg/Leesville area.
