16' Income Verifications - what Are You Seeing?

So far, the ones that have needed verification mostly are ones who had outstanding "inconsistencies" from last year, one yesterday needed several items, leftover from last year.
New person with higher income than last year, when income was too low for subsidy, sailed through. Gets SS survivor benefits in 2016. Used that and other income. Another, new to SSDI, no verification needed.
I have been, like some others, surprised by how many don't need it. One tip from HC.gov, try to match what IRS database will show. I am guessing if IRS shows more than declared income for 2016, then, inconsistency. If more declared on 2016 app, mostly not an issue.

Where are you guys seeing that they need these verifications? Are the clients notified or are you? I don't see anything on my Sherpa end saying it needs anything.

I had 2 of those today! I just assumed it was because the spouse was on Medicare

She was single, no clue what could triggered that.
