52 hours is a lonnng time

Hey Travis. Hope you're doing well.

Maybe stop jumping my shit and assuming the worst when someone fails to be well versed in the technical aspects of blogging.....because he's still learning? I've also made some social faux pas but, again. let's not assume the worst. You really should assume the best with me. Intent IS relevant.

Two points, my nizzles. Then, we really should move on. We've all made our perspectives clear. I knew I was taking a risk to share mine but I thought it worthy. Others, including African Americans and African Brtits and African Italians think the same as me, but you rarely (if ever) hear it, right? Isn't that a good enough reason for me to share it?

1. I think you'll find the OP and my response on The IF from last October pertinent. These are two of my first observations / contributions. I wonder why Vanessa has been hesitant to post since December? I hope she's doing well.

2. I once suggested that we're all depraved and I don't recall anyone disagreeing. For someone depraved, y'all sure are proud.

I hope youse have a fantastic AEP.

What are you even talking about?

I think everyone here has the same sentiment. Which is pretty much, shut up and be relevant instead of hijacking posts wanting to talk about "I'm not a racist."

First of all, you brought my name into this thread with your continued jackassery.

Two, this isn't a blog. This is a forum.

Three, I don't care about your continued argument about "not being a racist."

You really have two options:
1) Drop it and move on.
2) Get banned again, hopefully permanently.

Finally, I didn't "jump your shit or assume the worst
"
The truth is either you're either too dumb to realize what you're doing, or a troll. Either way, knock it off.

I don't know you, but based on your posts of this forum, you're the type of guy that gives Conservative and Christian views a bad name.

My apologies to people with lisps.

I thee my thoughts on thencorship have been themi-thencored. It's cool. It's your aircraft and as long as I'm on board, you call the shots.

I'm not pretentious enough to tell you where to go to church, but I would like to make some recommendations.

In The Inland Empire you'll find some milk at Greg Laurie's church in Riverside. If you want something solid, I recommend you sit in on Hugh Ross's class, Paradox, online from Sierra Madre. Ross is a very interesting, brilliant man. He's borderline Asperger's, Canadian, unchurched early on, atheist, physicist, and there's no reason he'd be a Christian if logic, science, and reason didn't demand it. He'll answer your questions. If it's something he's fielded a bazillion times, he'll give the short & skinny then refer you to one of his books.

Paradoxes Sunday School Class With Dr. Hugh Ross

In San Diego you can attend David Jeremiah's church. He's pretty good.

The church in Time Square seems very good. It was started by David Wilkerson who wrote The Cross And The Switchblade which inspired me……..to collect switchblades. He was a very good preacher.

If you're ever in Houston, boy you'd better do right. Avoid Joel Osteen. I'm convinced, if you're giving to his church, it's a sin. Not that seeking abundance is wrong. The Bible is full of promises that, if you do X, you can expect benefit Y. You can even see a little Ayn Rand in the way God designed logic as applied to humanity.

In Memphis there was an excellent minister whose sermons you can find online, Adrian Rogers, aka, Dr. Golden Throat. He's long been with The Lord. His series on "The Amazing Word of God," is very good.

John McArthur is good except he seems to agree with atheist scientist who've determined free will is an illusion. That's el wrong-o. Some ministers will convince you that you've surpassed God's grace, you're going to Hell and there's nothing can be done. Don't listen to that lie.

The Atlanta area has a lot of good ministers. My brother likes Johnny Hunt in…….Cherokee County? (Someone once told me every county but two are named after families in GA.)

When I moved to Roanoke I was determined to join a church immediately and be active. At the First Baptist church I went forward to move my membership. The pastor shook my hand and asked if I was saved. I said yes. He asked again, was I sure? I lied and said yes. He asked again, if there was not a doubt in my mind. Once again, in front of God, in His house, replying to His disciple I lied.

Years later it was revealed that pastor was having adulterous sexy time with a parishioner. Don't let those types throw you off the path. I hope I haven't been as such.

I think the Falwell's have had a lock on that for decades, although Swaggart and Baker were strong contenders using the Billy Graham method. Honorable mentions go out to Olsten.

Is it possible part of your angst is that you've yet to witness me get upset and, somehow I seem to be consistently happy? It's true, things are going very well for me now, but don't worry. Everything is temporary.

There's an old hymn, "Showers of Blessings." A few times in my life I've prayed for just that. It may have taken a few months but I know I've witnessed miracles. I hope you'll find that helpful.

Ain't but one demographic without bad apples.

Dad said some of the ladies in his churches tried things with him. Women. What a delightful creature! But, been makin trouble since the world began.

Did you know, on average each week in The US, 2-3 different female school teachers are caught having sexy time with their students? We only hear about the hot ones and the ministers. Since psychologists tell us that sexual abuse in adolescence breeds abusers, is it any wonder we have the likes of Weinstien and Epstien among us?

It's like my neighbor in Hardy VA. Shame on society for producing the types of people he has to manage. There's plenty of blame to go around.

Haha. It just dawned on me that women are like a controversial thing I posted.

Consider "Behind every bad man, there's a woman."

It's the same as, "If you're going to accept the admirable stereotypes of any demographic, it would be illogical and ridiculous to claim nothing negative could be attributable."

Look at me. I'm Baptist and The Westboro Baptist Church embarrasses the living daylights out of me.

I'm proud to be Kentuckian, but we all know the ridicule Kentuckians endure. Some of those stereotypes hold validity, that I can tell you.
