Can we have our own mean girls?
I remember using this on the debit back in the 80s old stuff but it kind of works once in a whileWould the Settler's Big Check work if you were selling Equitable or ACI?
Don't some of you guys use the good ole "$1,000" guarantee? I don't care how another makes his money, but IMHO that is pretty gimmicky.
Yeah, and it is purposely worded so the agent is the sole determiner of the facts so he will never have to pay no matter what plan he wrote or what plan the client found later. There was one example given where the policy the client thought was better had a substantially lower premium, but the agent said it wasn't a better plan because the original company had an A- rating and the proposed company only had a B+ rating. It is not only a gimmick but the implication that the agent will ever pay out the $1000 is pure fiction.
So an A- rated company isn't better than a B+ rated company? Hehe
Ftr, I do not use the $1,000 guarantee.

Guess it is a matter of opinion.. I personally would not pay more for coverage with an A- company over a B+ company. Would an A rated company be better for the client if the premium for the same coverage was $10 per month more than a non rated company?
That thing has more disclaimers than a prescription, car, and weight loss commercial combined.
Not in my opinion, but I let clients decide that.

Now that's completely false. When I saw it, it had at max 5 listed conditions.
Im neither defending or attacking it...just saying your claim is a bit exaggerated.
I happen to have one on my desk from a replacement I did. "Benefits" , include, but are not limited to: 1 Strength of Company 2 Ease of Issue 3 Policy Guarantee 4 Coverage limitations 5 Claim Payments It is a good thing it is not limited to those 5. Others include color of app, number of letters in company (Can be more or less), what state the company is in, etc....
