AARP/UHC Med Supp/MA FMO?

I think every agent selling health and/or life insurance should have a Med Supp in their briefcase. Med Supps are so easy to sell, virtually no service work.

What could be a more natural progression than for a health or life client going on Medicare and have the agent they have trusted for the past several years help them obtain a Medicare Supplement policy.

The agent is the underwriter so no hassles from the company. Full first year commission is paid for six years.

If an agent stays in contact with their senior clients they will be extremely loyal. I still have people who have Med Supps with me that I wrote my first year in the business, 1993.

If you would like some help getting started give me a call. The call is free and so is the advice. I always have time to talk to other agents.

we spoke 2 weeks ago and i would like to continue our discussion 513-594-6956 mike

Whos the most competitive companies in AZ for those of you selling Med Supps there?

The first place I would suggest you start is with the Department of Insurance. In Missouri I can get a list of all the companies selling Med Supps and their rates. AZ may have the same kind of information available.

I sincerely don't understand why anyone will want to sell the AARP med supp, not unless you plan on selling 5-10 a day. Why ? Because they pay you $127.53 per approved app, regardless of the premium, and that is ICA.

It's 170.00 in Virginia, but that still sucks.

I was actually responding to the original poster, but it was good to hear from you.

Dwayne, you seem a tad confused. I was the original poster. To wit:

Don't need advances or leads, but they must be willing to provide a release, upfront in writing.

Ideas?
Is there any reason in particular that you want to sell AARP and UHC? They are 2 of the most expensive in the market. If you ar looking to replace med supps.,in my opinion, you could pick many better med supps.
