Getting in the door with AARP provides a GREAT cross-sell opportunity because of their low rates (here in Florida anyway). They're the only Med Supp available in all 50 states and US territories.

The AARP name is being dragged through the mud right now with their backing of Obamacare, but hopefully they'll maintain some integrity.

If they have to lowest rates the seniors will not care how deep the mud gets. If it gets over their head then and only then will there be an open season on AARP.
