I am an agent in Ohio and have an insured that is purchasing a home in Key West. It's a large home which he will also being used as a rental. What are the best insurance carriers in Key West for this type of risk? (competitive) Not sure if I should refer to agent down in Key West, or try to write the coverage myself. I have been told I can write the coverage through Burns & Wilcox (broker) as long as I have a non residence license. Not trying to turn business away but want to do what is best for my client.
