Aflac......

I'm not. I have everything I could ever want or need, except fulfillment in a career. That's all I'm looking forward to

It's getting to the point that everything you say is a contradiction of something you said earlier. It's becoming a joke. A couple of days ago you were talking about borrowing money from your family and selling your stuff to survive...now you don't need money.

Looks like I hit the nail on the head when I compared you to Ricochet Rabbit.

P.S. I saw you giving employment advice on another thread...LOL. You also said you were starting with the MM outfit Monday. Are you sure???:skeptical:

Yeah, I am sure that MidSouth is going to be a good fit for me. I gave advice because he's thinking of Northwestern and I interned there when I was 19. Nothing bad to say about them, just wanted him to know that they will ask him to start with his family and work out from there.

Well, I wish you the best of luck...no more changing your mind!

Have you considered Combined?:err:

David,

A dear friend of mine started with MM two years ago. He has worked harder and smarter than I ever have. I'm very proud of him.

That being said, he's just now starting to make some decent money (over $60K).

Well, it won't be easy. Is he doing securities also?

I know a few different people there and none of them make decent money.

What is decent money? I mean, again, I'm in it for the money, I'm in it because I want to help people.

Why do you think they don't make money? Is it their fee structure, or their low commission %?

I think it should be a good company to learn with, get licensed for my series and learn about comprehensive financial planning.

What are they going to do to get you this training?

If money doesn't matter and you want to help people, go work at Red cross or do community service.

Under 50k. And if you're making little money that means you're not helping many people.

I'll find out more on Monday when I go in for my marketing plan. I'm assuming it will be a lot of joint-work which I need. This MM Branch is #10 in the entire agency, I'm sure they have some good programs. I know I'll be using the OCS and prospecting.

I do community service, but not in a way that is fulfilling for my long term career.

Dang, you moved to Memphis in the past couple months and you have already got involved into community service? You are fast! Now if you could just find a career before Christmas you will be set! Keep shopping around....since you don't need to make money at all there is no rush!!!
