Agency Owners- How Do You Pay Your Agents (1099)?

I'm an agent within a small family owned agency and my grandfather is using a very outdated program to print checks and produce 1099s. I have done a little searching around but haven't had much like in finding a CLOUD BASED option where he could make payments (preferably direct deposits) to us. All of the options I have run across look great for W2 employees but not so much for self employed people. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
