AIDS (HIV Positive)

I believe he is referring to ABA as American Benefits Association...They had an identical plan this summer, underwritten by Mutual of Omaha...the rates went up every 5 years, and I think at age 70, the Benefit amount decreased....My problem with ABA was after releasing the product, 2 months later they canceled it...I wrote 3 policies, and had to explain to people and it was a headache...I have a feeling this new transamerica deal will fall thru in about a month..It appears they just want to collect a bunch of premiums, hope the clients don't die, then cancel the plans, and ride off into the sunset

I would not doubt most of these are not worth sending clients to. The one that I just got licensed with is through USA benefits group. The policy is underwritten through Met Life term to age 80.

Here is a link to there site, but the coverage is relatively new and I don't want to represent a company that might drop the plan quicker then they can offer it. (or raise the rates so high the clients are forced to give it up)..its hard to put your name on a plan like that.

USA Benenfits has been around for years. It also does not provide an immediate benefit. Some of the other association plans do. I'm not saying they are worth selling in that the association will either disband or just remove the life benefit at some point once the administrator finds out that we are signing up people who are otherwise uninsurable purely for the purpose of obtaining GI life coverage.

The key is to sell the other benefits of the Association, refer a lawyer, helicopter benefit, sickness benefit, nurse on call, as part of the premium payments. They have a pretty solid warranty plan in some states as well.

Question: What carrier did you find that will issue any type of policy for HIV diagnosis? The only policy to write an HIV prospect is Accidental Death, at this time.

there are ROP GI companies like Vantis and others (do a search) that will take them, a few like Degree of Honor or possibly Setllers with a graded but they limit the number of there almost GI policies to a small percentage of your business, or refer it out to a Mutual of Omaha agent who can write it with their GI
