Most of the carriers farm out Rx to a PBM and they do not integrate with the major med. Not a problem for copay plans but can cause some hitches for HDHP (HSA) type plans.
I have clients with HDHP that satisfied their deductible in the first 90 - 120 days but the carrier still is showing the deductible has not been satisfied. In some cases it too another 60 days+ for the carrier to get the PBM report and then refund the xs OOP to the policyholder.
But Ocare will solve all that . . . .
