No longer required: Point-of-sale telephone interview for Final Expense
Effective immediately, we no longer require a point-of-sale telephone interview or jet pre-approval number for our ACI/CLI Final Expense whole life insurance applications. With the new process, all you need to do is complete the application with the customer and submit it. We've removed the telephone interview option from our phone prompts as well. We're already using this process with our other plans and it's a much quicker experience for you and your client.
If we need more information to make a final decision, our underwriting team will contact the applicant for a clarifying telephone interview. We only need to complete the clarifying telephone interview in about 10% of cases, and those calls typically last 5 minutes or less.
