Anyone Hear of Lincoln Heritage Life?

I've never been affectived negatively by that "advice" and I still call BS on it.

I would for you try that stuff with people I'm meeting with. I have used it though when replacing the high priced junk that's out there. I ask them if the person that sold it to them said to stop sending in reply cards. The ones that say that they were that I ask them if they know why they were told that that, they nod their head and say sheepishly, "we do now".

Scam artist are always afriad of somebody coming in behind them to expose their dealings.

I don't care who goes behind me because they can't put them in a better deal that what I did. I talked to a LH agent two weeks ago and told him that I had been working his area. He said, "I know, I've been in there behind you and I can't touch your work". He wanted to know if I would contract him under me so that he could offer people good service.

You can talk the talk all you want, but if you can't walk the walk you will have to keep recruiting newbies and hold on to them long enough to keep their money after they wash out.

Son, I've been walking the walk and talking the talk for 12 years now, FE only, (longer than you I believe). I've been fairly successful even though my premiums are higher. I don't force people to buy my product, I just show them the rates and let them pick what they like.

If grocery store A charges more for a loaf of bread than grocery store B charges, and the consumer buys from grocery store A...did grocery store rip-off that customer?

It depends, did grocery store A tell the customers to not even look at what grocery store B had?

If you are so successful, why do you need to recruit at every venue? As for how long you have be doing it, so what? You can sit in a garage for 10 years and it won't make you a Cadillac.

But, I digress. Please sell more LH. It's a wonderful product. Plaease sell as much as possible in western Ky and southern Indiana. Those people have needs. Recruit some more people here if you can't get to them all. It took Newby a while to convince me about the virtures of LH, but I now truly see the light.

I replaced 2 LH policies last week--two sisters. They gave me the same referrals that they gave their LH agent.

I just hope that he wrote everybody. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their products. I only wish I saw it more often.

I recruit because: personal production + sub-agents' production is greater than personal production alone = higher income (if it's done correctly). Why does Mark, Hoosier, and other successful mgr.'s on this forum recruit? If you still don't know ask Hoosier Daddy (your mgr.) and he'll explain it to ya. It's simple math.

Looks like the LH agent didn't follow my advice above. Maybe this discussion will help him.

Were the policies you replaced the one's with a 2 yr. waiting period and now the clock starts all over again for the 2 sisters?

No and no.

They literally just bought the LH policies. They both qualified for Settlers Gold which was essentially 5k more coverage for the exact same premium.

Win win for everyone involved, as I'm sure you'd agree.

Not a win for the LH agent though. So when all those policies are replaced then who will you write?

If "briefcaseboy" explains to his new customer that from here on out, when you get one of these cards in the mail just throw it in the trash can. Always call me when you have a question, need to change bene., add more coverage, having trouble paying the premium, etc. Call me on Sat. if you like.

Works like a charm and replacement becomes a non-issue.

I can see that this is fairly decent advice, but do you go on to tell them to be aware of the agent that pushes one company because he's not actually shopping for you and doesn't really have your best interest in mind?

Let's face it, if you're shopping for your client and you have their best interest at heart, you won't have to worry about someone else's card coming in the mail because you know they can't be helped any more than you already did.
