Anyone Hear of Lincoln Heritage Life?

I recruit because: personal production + sub-agents' production is greater than personal production alone = higher income (if it's done correctly). Why does Mark, Hoosier, and other successful mgr.'s on this forum recruit? If you still don't know ask Hoosier Daddy (your mgr.) and he'll explain it to ya. It's simple math.

Looks like the LH agent didn't follow my advice above. Maybe this discussion will help him.

Were the policies you replaced the one's with a 2 yr. waiting period and now the clock starts all over again for the 2 sisters?

Can you tell me where you saw Hoosierdaddy recruiting?

Last year on this forum, in his signature tag. He and I had a couple of discussions right here on the forum about recruiting. And a few agents were commenting about him not returning their calls.

I can see that this is fairly decent advice, but do you go on to tell them to be aware of the agent that pushes one company because he's not actually shopping for you and doesn't really have your best interest in mind?

Let's face it, if you're shopping for your client and you have their best interest at heart, you won't have to worry about someone else's card coming in the mail because you know they can't be helped any more than you already did.

You see, I'm an insurance producer/recruiter, not someone's shopper. I represent 2 Co.'s and tell that to the prospects. Sometimes people say they are "just shopping around" after my presentation. That's fine. If they are real price conscience so be it.

However, that "shopping around" statement means I may have slipped somewhere in my presentation or that person will "shop around" till they die with no or not enough coverage and let the family deal with financial hardship.

I do have "their best interest in mind"... to get some coverage to protect their family from financial embarassment because they have procrastinated so long or lapsed an earlier policy. I don't force people to buy, they buy because they want to.

Since going indy early this year, I contracted out with about half a dozen different carriers, Lincoln being one of them. Nothing wrong with Lincoln at all, as they will usually underwrite a client standard that most would give a graded death benefit. Also, I like that they have no height/weight question on their app. That said, I will usually write my healthy clients through another carrier so they can get a more competitive rate, and I don't have to worry about someone coming behind me and replacing it.

"Last year" is key.

Comparison? Please explain. I only answered your earlier question.

What's to explain? You always bring up that Travis recruits when I mention recruiting.

Travis is not all over the web promising pie in the sky BS. He is also not all over the web trying to justify high priced FE plans with smoke and mirrors.

JD will you back off of Greg and let him do his job?

He's trying to get us some more inventory. Let him work his magic!

It's not a waiting period - but a incontestability period. They don't have to wait 2 years to get full benefit - they just have to not lie on the app . . .

Let's face it, if you're shopping for your client and you have their best interest at heart, you won't have to worry about someone else's card coming in the mail because you know they can't be helped any more than you already did.

Well said Todd . . .
