Anyone Heard of High Def Nation Health Insurance?

According to the Indiana DOI, Susan McBay does not hold an insurance license since it expired on 5/31/12.

Wait.

This is an association plan. Apparently you don't need an insurance license to run an association.

Re: Anyone Heard of High Defnation?

But I stated clearly that this is a PRELAUNCH health insurance opportunity. (yes count the times I have to say PRELAUNCH)

Look to sum it up - this is being billed as:

Actual Health & Dental Insurance from an AM A Rated Best Company - 1st to go MLM!
Refer 3 and it is FREE! Even if you don't refer VERY VERY LOW COST per month for you and YOUR FAMILY!

You don't have to like it but you don't have to knock it.
But you should be aware of it.

Sue, tell me where it is being billed as HEALTH INSURANCE. Seriously, nowhere in your little video does it say HEALTH INSURANCE. Big difference in health insurance and a health plan.

And why do you keep assuming people are threatened by you or this "opportunity"? I'm really looking forward to October 15th when the details come out and it proving all the naysayers here wrong. Unfortunately I'm afraid that naysayer being proved wrong will be you. But somehow I feel you'll defend it to the end. I just hope that if it is some type of limited benefit plan that you don't push it on unsuspecting people as health insurance.

According to the Indiana DOI, Susan McBay does not hold an insurance license since it expired on 5/31/12. Seems the DOI would be interested in this product and why you are selling it as health insurance when it is clearly not health insurance and is not registered as an insurance product with the state.

Considering that her insurance license expired in May, I wonder if the state of Indiana would be interested in the following quote by Sue (post #11 from this thread)?

(although I have my license and got tired of the doubled premiums and people not affording it).

Not only did her license expire 05/31/2012, but I'm willing to bet since it was effective only two years prior she didn't make a living selling insurance. There's nothing wrong with that, this is a tough business in which to make it. With that said, I now wonder how much health insurance she's actually sold and how great her knowledge is of true major medical and "health plans"?

Re: Anyone Heard of High Defnation?

I guess you thought you got me ROFL
I have a form right here that says I can still reinstate my license but I choose not to.
I stated that I work Ameriplan because I make more money with it so I let my health insurance license go. I was a legally licensed broker with 5 different carriers. I make more money with AP so I stuck with it.
My colleagues are not so close minded and are somewhat concerned.
But you = I guess this is a witch hunt.
Can't accept something new or even leave it alone.
Going after me makes you feel less threatened perhaps?
No problem.
It makes us laugh to see this reaction from you guys.
You just discredit yourself when you aren't open minded
and you attack.
I'm not selling YOU anything.
The only reason I reply is because you are like the media - take soundbites and turn them into quotes and I have to at least explain what you write.
My thread is "Have you heard of HighDef Nation?"
Anyone who has answered anything more is sounding a bit paranoid, negative and closeminded.
Fine - if it makes your dream come true to think it's a hoax and it won't work - then stay in your own world.
Don't think you're going to break me.
You have a right to your opinion and you don't see ME telling you that you're wrong and on and on because I don't care what you do.
Why should you care what I do?
To protect people?
More people are hurt by close minded people who attack without proper info.
So far, no one has found it to be anything but a new
MLM that is allowing us to sell health insurance.
Sheesh!
Thank you.
Oh I forgot - if yu'd like I'll send you the State of Indiana's phone # but I"m sure you've already called. lol
Know what's funny ? - There's a whole training session just to deal with health insurance agents! lolol Apparently they expect this reaction from some of you.

Wait.

This is an association plan. Apparently you don't need an insurance license to run an association.

But you do need an education to read things properly.

Not something new....this scam has been around for a long time

usually the last words of a failed agent and desperate to pay the bill's.....

yea.....and they expect us to sell this crap....did not happen in the past ,,,,will not happen in the future.....so there goes your referral fee....

Re: Anyone Heard of High Defnation?

Thanks for your insight. I truly do appreciate it.
Except I wasn't a desperate and failed agent. I work part time, my hubby earns a great living for us. It is something extra I do. And I don't like to waste my time. I apply it where it works better for me.

Sue, be careful what you write here. It will go badly for you if you must testify before a Judge or the Department of Insurance. You were once a licensed agent, not just an average consumer. Don't find yourself knowingly selling something billed as "health insurance" which turned out not to be so, for a "referral fee" that turned out to be an association cover-up for commissions to unlicensed individuals. When an MLM product is sold by training the sales team not to listen to the voice of experts in the industry, it's red flag #1. In this case, it's about red flag #17. I'm afraid you won't heed this warning, but at least I made it (for you and for any other prospective sales person who might be tempted by their offer).

Thanks for the warning but why do you assume it's not health insurance? Because you have not heard of this before?
I haven't signed up for anything yet.
I'm not selling anything yet.
When I see the fine print, I'll know more.
What harm is there in checking it out?
Am I missing something here?

Because you don't need an insurance license to sell it. This is an insurance forum and most of us are licensed agents who are aware of the laws.

In fact, even people without a license know you need a license to sell health insurance.
