Anyone Heard of High Def Nation Health Insurance?

Thank you, I appreciate your answer.

And to all, I guess I got my answers and this thread is done. I wish everyone good health and success and a great future. It's been a "slice' . :1cute:

Done? :nah: It'll be done when the NAA convention thread and Mary's free life insurance thread are "done."

I registered while in Pre-Launch, but have gone no further with it. I am really not big on MLM, but I figured there's always a first time. However, since my Target Market would include people I personally know, I thought I would do a little more digging before committing any more time and money to it.

Since the Healthcare aspect is provided through AWIS, I called them directly, and spoke to a very informed and pleasant Agent, who told me how good the Dental portion of the plan is, and how she uses AWIS even though as an AWIS employee they do offer PPO/HMO plans to their Employees through different Carriers.

However, she could not give me a clear answer to my two main questions- "Does this cover Major Medical?"- will any Hospital honor the AWIS plan?- and does it cover Surgical Procedures performed in a Hospital.

The answer is that AWIS WILL pay a Hospital Benefit of some kind, after a 24 hour period of being in the Hospital, but exactly what is covered apart from the Room- is very vague.

I am not sure that I can pursue this with a clear conscience, without telling people EXACTLY what they are getting for their money, and that seems to be the one thing that HIGH DEF NATION are NOT telling people.

I've always wanted to go into Insurance and this seemed like an easy way to get into the business without a License, at 58 years of age I'm not sure I'm up to the Cramming involved in obtaining a License through normal channels. However, Character and integrity does count for a lot, I'm not sure that i can wholeheartedly endorse the HIGH DEF plan...so I guess I need to think about trying something else.

The way this thing is laid out, there certainly seems to be the potential of being charged with selling insurance without a license in some jurisdictions.

"Integrity First" is always the best choice. Good luck to you in whatever you choose to pursue as your career. If it's insurance, I know that there's a broad road ahead for agents that put the needs of their clients first and always use integrity. Good luck to you.

I spoke to one of the newer posters that is our age. He just got his licence. If you want it go for it.

ADVICE:

Plans sold through an Association (esp on the net) are typically sparse in their benefit explanations.

What you have to do is call the Association in question and ask them to mail or e-mail you a copy of the same documents that paid members receive.

I was looking into selling a stand-alone association benefit package last year that seemed to offer a lot of "bang for the buck". At my request they sent me a generic membership package. To my surprise, it was very detailed and generous in benefits and scope.

Have sold several as stand-alones, but I could make a killing if I were ambitious enough to learn how to sell it on the internet. Even though 20% of $35 to $95 a month isn't much in commissions, the $$$ could add up with enough sales..particularly since the commissions are level for as long as the customer pays their premium dues.

It really is true that the devil, or the angel, is iin the details. Never sell anything without first seeing and understanding the exact product your customer will see.
