Anyone Heard of High Def Nation Health Insurance?

Supposedly, this is group health insurance

I can't believe that after all of these posts, you are still referring to this scam as health insurance. Post whatever you want but I think your efforts to convince us that this is a legitimate health insurance policy is over.

You have obviously not read any posts but your own.

Absolutely mind-boggling............

What is the potential liability of the HD person marketing the plans. All it would take is for one person to assume they are buying health insurance and then get sick or have an accident and someone has to take the blame once the bills start coming in. I would guess the company would say go talk to the person who sold you the plan...

Much like Mission Impossible, the carriers can disavow any knowledge of the actions of their agents (or representatives). That does not mean they cannot be held liable for promises made.

The landscape is littered with plans like these and the body count is stacking up. Believe it or not, many times the carriers are unaware of who is using their paper to put together plans and they have no idea what their risk share is until after the fact.

More than once a small carrier is used to front the product that is established by an intermediary and all they know is they get 5 - 15% of the premium as the issuing carrier. They assume some of the risk, usually 10% or so, with the rest handed off to reinsurers. Only the intermediary knows who has what and everyone is happy until it blows up.

Quite a bit of this was done 20 yrs ago or so, but obviously it is still alive and kicking.

Anyone that markets this kind of crap will only have a cell phone, and, work out of their singlewide.
Their mailing address will be a P O Box.
Their email will be some generic like gmail or yahoo.
The person selling this crap will then be totally insulated from their clients angry telephone calls.

Thank you, I appreciate your answer.

And to all, I guess I got my answers and this thread is done. I wish everyone good health and success and a great future. It's been a "slice' . :1cute:

Hey Sue, can you post a summary of benefits? I want to see the specifics. For example, I asked about the benefit for surgeries and you never answered. Inquiring minds want to know.
