I said it was a lie to call it the "best" FE program in Ca as you did. I do't know what all opportunities are in Ca for the FE agent but I do know that going with LH would not make anyone's top 10.

It seems that you need to get with an IMO that offers training and leads. There are many out there. I'm partial to EFES but I believe you said somewhere that you were going part time.

I do not believe that EFES is the right IMO for a part timer unless you were just brokering through them.

Look at Securus. I don't how they would work a part timer either, though.

Might be best to start captive with someone until you learn the ropes. This is a very hard business. I know the recruiters will tell you otherwise, but they are just full of themselves. Most of the recruiters couldn't sell FE even if you held a gun a their head but they will tell you how great they "were".

The reason I say go captive at first is because you seem to have a limited budget. It is very tough to get started as an independent with no seed money.

As for what I said about underwriting at LH, yes, if I were in charge I would certainly bring them into this century and allow people that take plavix to get level coverage the way almost every other FE company does. You spread the lie that the premiums are high to justify easy underwriting when it's just the not the truth that the underwriting is easier than the lowe priced companies.

And, I am a sole proprieter because I chose to be. I do not want to recruit nor be anything like you.

I was just offered a job with a captive company to oversee 6 agencies. That is not my cup of tea.

Why did they seek me out? Because of my production. No one is seeking you out. That's why you are everywhere spreading recruiting lies.

You won't even answer the questions posed to you here at the forum. You do not produce and i doubt that you are very successful recruiting just going by how low you stoop to try and get agents to contact you.

Fretfrek...you're gonna have tough sledding in SoCal unless you get hooked up with someone to secure you a fixed price lead, at least while you're getting your FE business started. In other parts of the country you could just drop some mail or do some TM but CA in general is as tough as it gets for FE lead gen.
