Anyone in So Cal?

I was going to use the word stupid. But then again I am just a one man dog and pony show.

All LH agents must be large insurance companies. Wow.

I dont do personal attacks here, never have....but man MGA I dont know what else to say about u. U seem like a complete moron & it gets worst every time u post another comment. U dont post your bank acct or production anywhere for anyone to see, yet u want to compare all the agents of LH to JD??

Ppl were right about u, u do skip questions & then expect others to answer yours....here's another u will avoid or skip, Whats your PERSONAL production & lets compare it to JD's, whichany EFES agent can verify??

We get it, u love LH & think its great...I have NO BEEF with that, your opinion!! But stop there, dont say anything else, cause mentally challenged maybe giving u too much credit!!

Fretfrek...you're gonna have tough sledding in SoCal unless you get hooked up with someone to secure you a fixed price lead, at least while you're getting your FE business started. In other parts of the country you could just drop some mail or do some TM but CA in general is as tough as it gets for FE lead gen.

TM? Transcendental meditation?

I work a little bit in LA. Mostly in the central valley for about 6 years now.
When I started I started with LH. I have personally produced every month for my entire career and lived solely off my commissions the first 5 years (not as a recruiter). I made a very good livivng and I never got buried in lead or chargeback debt.

If your starting out new in this biz and are broke like I was you should really think about going with a captive company. You will have a lot of free support/training and a very consistent lead source that is usually financed but doesn't have to be.

Remember the whole point is to make money. So what ever route you take just make sure your being paid well for all your hard work.

Also LH and SL shouldn't be lumped together all the time just because they are both captive companies. And I'm pretty sure that MGA works for SL not LH.

This is absolutely not true. I started as an agent not as a recruiter and I made plenty of money. Im still making money of my personal production every month. Every manager that I have had has personally taken me out for a ride along and I watched them sell a policy. My RD now still personally produces even though his agency collected 430k in ap last month.

You should really be careful JD some of the things you say about LH are just plain not true.

And someone taking plavix can get a normal policy not graded immediate coverage.

I know you are a great agent but Just because LH couldn't work for you doesnt mean that it can't work for others. I know you haven't directly stated this but your comments might give this impression

If I had been on this forum and read your posts about Final Expense and LH before I started. I would have never got into this biz or with my company. This tears me up inside because I love this biz and my company. I could not be happier. And I just hope that you do not rob some new agent of a potentially great carrier.

Nothing I have ever posted about LH is not true. If it was they would have already come calling. Nor did LH lH not work for me. I was on the leaderboard every month. I just got educated on the fact that it was a terrible company and not agent friendly or client friendly. Newby reminded me just the other day that I was bragging on LH when I first joined here. That much is true. It just didn't take me long to find out how wrong I was after seeing how the rest of the world did things.

As for people not making the same mistakes I did, I think that's great. I believe that if you talked to Sam he would say that was the driving force behind this forum. To save other agents the sweat equity that the others had to do.

I know I have learned much from this forum and the only reason I share my experiences is to help other agents learn from my trial and errors.

You come here to recruit. There is a difference between you and me as wide as the Grand Canyon.

I do realize that some lessons just have to be learned and cannot be taught. But, I will still continue to share the good and the bad about this business.

I just pointed out 2 thing you said about LH that was not true.

1) that its only "best" for recruiters to work with lincoln. I have made my living as an agent and you just said that you were on the leader board every month so obviously it can be "best" for agents also. So this was untrue

2) that someone taking plavix can't get a "leveled" benefit. This is also not true.

And you just said something else that wasn't true. You said I get on here to "recruit" (I never have). LH runs all my ads for me and sends me the "recruits" I just manage the agency and train/support the new agents.

These are three things you insinuated just in this thread.

You keep throwing the whole company under the bus because you had a bad experience with one of their agencies.

LH is not a terrible company! And they have always been friendly to me and im an agent. So to me they are very agent-friendly.

Just because you say something that is not true about LH doesn't mean you would get a call from "them". They don't monitor every forum out there and call agents that are misinformed.

I love that you give your opinions and share your personal experiences, but you shouldnt put everyone else down that has had a different experience than you. Or that has became successful through a different path or company.

I don't think I need to "learn" how the real world works. I've got a good grasp on it. And all the lessons I have learned have been the hard way. That's why I know LH is a good company I've learned the hard way!

When did they change the plavix rule? It's still on the modified list that an LH agent showed me last week.

You are constantly recruiting for LH. All anyone has to do is read your posts.

I know you have a reading comprehension problem but that doesn't mean that everyone else does.

And, they do momnitor this forum just as do many companies. I know of one agent that got a call from SL because of postings here. I know of another that got a call from Monumental about something he posted here. I have heard from RNA about posing here.

Not that any of that is bad. I actually welcome the companies posting here.

LH is pretty good out in Cali, Mon Life is solid too...just make sure you get the Legacy Safeguard service with it.

None that I know of but he said they were prety good in Ca. How could they be good in Ca if they have the same rates as everywhere else?

Im sure he means god for his pocket book, hes had success & likes what he does...has nothing to do with rates being lower here. Thats my guess! But umm, where is Cali is here, Id like to canvas that area afterwards, LMAO!!
