I think it could be a good opportunity, not many (or any) companies using spanish mailers. Design your own and see what happens. Maybe put the dos equis guy on it with the phrase,

Anyloan2, Im not looking to be "set up", I have an MGA & IMO already. I was just looking for a lil help from reps who have or are working in Calif in regards to obtaining leads from a telemarketing source and/or setting appts from mailer leads. If you're only willing to help if I sign up with u....then NO THANKS! Not interested in LH!

Being familiar with the area I would 'think' West L.A. would be somewhat tough. SB county somewhat better. Do you habla the espanol?

Now, if there were a way to get a database of anyloan2's clients I'd say, "Dude, you really ARE living in the Golden state!"

I was thinking the same (that SB would be easier)....I hope so, but Ill soon find out!! As far as anyloan2's clients, all I know of LH is what ppl say on here, which 90% isn't good...but I have no personal exp with them!!

Im independent, and I have 6 diff carriers!

He does more big life cases...not so much FE.

No, I am in the central Valley. I did the 4 1/2 hour drive for a referral. Turned out pretty well. Picked up 3 apps.

I am probably not the guy to model after. I do not do mailers, buy leads or cold call. I work my book, referrals, and orphans. But I work them pretty well.

Example: This referral was for a FE policy. While I was there I picked up two 10 pay child policies. I already have two policies in underwriting on the owner and his wife and children Then I AOR'd five MetLife policies. On the Daughter's family. I will probably 1035 most of them. And picked up referrals to another daughter and a niece for FEs on their in-laws. I will then work that whole family. I am pretty sure that buy the time I get to those there will be around 6 policies.

The original referral is from someone I sold about 12 years ago and has referred me to about 10 family members and friends.

This is not the norm and has taken me a long time to build.
