Anyone using ZOHO CRM ?

Twilio would work to set up for calls and SMS through the CRM.

I use Zoho CRM with Twilio and can not use SMS...

Do I need a special add-on or re-configuration?

My work around (so far) is to have Twilio directly fwd any texts received at my business line to my cell phone. It works, but it's not ideal.

@sshafran Good point, there doesn't seem to be a way to natively receive SMS messages in Zoho CRM using the Twilio marketplace app. What I have found is that this CRM add-on seems pretty legit:

Twilio SMS/MMS/Whatsapp Extension for Zoho CRM

It allows for two-way communication and logging of the messages as they are sent and received. It costs $35/mth or $240 per year. I think they did a good job making it look like an imessage thread.

Also, Zoho Flow could be utilized to add the message to Zoho CRM, if you have Zoho One. Zoho Flow is like Zapier and they have an integration with Twilio so when a message is received you could create a flow to send it back to Zoho CRM and track the conversation. Another work-around but it does work. I'd recommend the above marketplace app first as that is proven to work and they have people that support it. However, as with all programming, there are a few options :).

I use Zoho but paid a developer to customize it.

I will say that Zoho and its tools do EVERYTHING but connecting everything is not intuitive and trying to do it yourself is a waste of resources (time).

@Tahoe Ray Couldn't agree more, as with any CRM there needs to be a lot of time in setting it up as it is integral to the sales process. Sometimes it's just easier to get someone else to worry about it!
