At some point will Primerica add FE?

Wow. Ignorance. PFS has been in the senior market for years. We have done LTC ins & Annuities.
This will be referral like Auto & HO, etc are.
But we also offer so many different things & different ways to get paid. Not interested in the other stuff.
We like changing people's lives for the better. Reaching out to those others neglect. & promptly paying claims.
We can do Auto, HO & biz ins as referrals, prepaid legal, ID Theft & Vivint Smart home/home security systems.
& since what we do is good for people, we also help ourselves.
I was just able to do an VA 1035 exchange for myself to a newer product w better benefits & locking in much higher base. Co carefully scrutinized this to make sure it was appropriate. & I made over $9k. Not something we usually do but in this case it really made sense.

So kind of stepping back & retiring but just renewed my life licenses so I can continue to help people w out needing to. Also have a couple of Roth's.
We can also do 401k plans & help those people w other needs. So our potential income is unlimited. & we can work as much or as little time as we want.

So kinda of like any other agent but captive with a crappy contract, overpriced product and no leads. Gotcha.

Gonna be a real eye opener speaking to seniors.
The reason this was done I'm sure is because we already WERE dealing w seniors. I am a senior. We were founded in 1977. So many years for clients to follow BTID & become financially independent & retired & on Medicare.
We have done annuities for a long time for muddled ages & older.
& some of our very young agents are also able to help their own grandparents.

KathiMr as I'm ignorant can you answer a question other PFS agents I've talked to won't answer?

Does PL term offer Living Benefits such as for cancer, stroke, and heart attacks?

One more thing. I understand why looking at the MA and Medsupps market but as mentioned once agents get a glimmer of commissions outside of PFS selling the same products bypassing referral and getting AHIP certified some are going to jump ship and not to mention all it takes to offer Medsupps is a health license.

Like I said it's going to be interesting.

About 23 years!
If you have been there 23 years, and deny Primerica is an MLM, you are either super naïve or a bold-faced liar. You've been an MLM since the late 70's when Hubert "Steely" Humphrey introduced the system, relying on his previous Amway experience while working in the railway industry.

It is a Medicare in's co. Offering Medicare Advantage Plans. & maybe Medicare Supplement plans.
I thought BTID is supposed to make people financially independent in their later years, where they can self-insure using the wealth they generated. Apparently that was just a catchy slogan.

I'm completely dumbfounded why Primerica is still able to suck people into their MLM. People either don't care about making money or are really into the brainwashing I guess! Amazing!

Primerica has something that almost all insurance companies don't have: A mantra or a mission.

"Buy term and invest the difference"... on the surface, makes perfect sense. The entire company is behind that mantra. That creates focus and duplication. Without it, you won't.

That's what they use for their customers and for recruiting new reps. And, in their view, they are doing right by the client. Based on the conversations I have with various Primerica reps, I believe they DO do right by their clients - at least by replacing under-funded policies and re-directing them to term and appropriate investments.

They don't have the understanding of the tax code or of how other policies work, nor are their policies the most competitive. However, they are in the home at the time of sale... and we are not. Therefore, let them do their job.

Remember: they are actively promoting that people should buy life insurance too!

Of course, if someone comes in with a higher level of thinking... that policy is easily replaced, but that's part of the game.

A mantra or a mission.
That mantra not only helps them recruit people, but helps those recruits to buy a policy themselves. The other mantra is the crusade to save the world from evil banks and Wall St, in spite being owned by banks and other Wall St investment houses, and being listed on the NYSE....located on Wall St.
