Attracting Agents to a New Website

If you received an email about a new opportunity to extend your reach to gain new clients. Would you open the email?
Would you potentially sign up if you liked what you read?
Or you just automatically delete it?

You should just expect standard response and click trough rates.

We see about 10% on the Read / Open Rate and then 1% on the Click through Rate. In then end it comes down to list size. Plus you'll have to factor in bounce rates and out of office responses.

And what about getting a call from a Lend.com represenative?
Would that pursuade you more to sign up for the site?
Or would you just say send me some info etc.

I easily delete 10 emails a day with such promises. Perhaps even more. I just go into my spam folder and hit delete until it is empty.

Dustin, it is Dustin, right?

PUT TOGETHER A LANDING PAGE WITH SOME INFORMATION!

Agents get harassed CONSTANTLY by people trying to sell them a product (yes, you are trying to sell them something). If you have a compelling value proposition it will be easy to get your message out there, but so far I think you've hurt your cause more than help it.

Any chance you could put together a landing page with more details about what it is you're doing rather than rehashing the same discussion repeatedly?

I hate those calls. They all act like I was just sitting around waiting for the call, that I have nothing better to do.

I used to just let those "out of area" calls go to voice mail. But it seem that if I answer them and say "I was just cold calling too. Thanks, but I get my stuff/pens/keychains/whatever through a local merchant...gotta keep it local" they drop me off their list. At least for a while...

Why would other people in the insurance industry go to your website??
