Automate Email Followup Instead of Copying and Pasting

Mark, do you mind saying what the "open rate" of your newsletter emails is?

33.4% opened it on my last one sent on March 22nd.

I had 3 bounces. 2 opt outs .. 39.7% of the people that open the email click on one of my links in the email.

I've never had more than 50% of them open the email.

Your email subject is very important.

Those are great numbers even for a double opt in list.

My single opt in lists I rent don't pull even 1/10 of that. Theyre still crazy profitable, but those numbers are great. You're like 10% higher than my double opt in on Ctr.

I have several different types of List for agents and my clients.

I learned when it comes to the newsletters for my clients, not to really talk much about insurance. Crazy huh? I write and talk about things that I think they want to read about and then I stick my ad's or links on the bottom or sides.

It is kind of like having your ad in a great magazine or something. I have different sections.

In one newsletter I talked about the benifets of buying local honey. I talked about how to clean hardwood floors. I talked about how you can complain to olive garden and get a free giftcard from their website. I talked about how to cure and prevent head lice. Before you ask, yes I do talk about my praying mantis some. I have a section on coupons and local deals. I'm not going to tell all the details because I would get laugh at what works on them.

Anyone can sign up for my agent newsletter where I talk about some of my ideas and systems.

Click Here to sign up for it.

Click Here to see some of my past emails.

I don't want to share client newsletters just yet. I get enough hell for the mantis thing...lol

I have awebber taking the feed from my blog and making my newsletters. The most recent one has a cartoon I made, information about my new downline agent, news about new things the website can do, etc.

Not so much advertising in there. Just a sidebar with links for quotes.

The single opt list is more advertisey. It's not to customers tho.

Blackholing an ip is different than blacklisting.

My hosting company has a policy that spam complaints can result in your ip address being redirected to null until you explain and correct the issue. That's blackholing.

Blacklisting means your emails start getting blocked. Totally different things.

Sending email the way you're suggesting opens you up to legal action because of can spam, blacklisting and blackholeing. It's not a good idea. Add compliance roofers and have the ip and date of the opt in and you're not taking that risk.

Footer. Not roofer. iPhone autocorrect is semi retarded.

my people are optin, I have proof I'll be fine

What is your "guarantee" based on? Do you have some documentation or some TOS verbiage from somebody? Where or from what authoritative source can I learn more about what you are claiming?

As President Reagan once said, "Trust... but verify."

If the content on numerous emails is the same and they hit the same domain, AND you are not whitelisted as a bulk sender they will, I've seen it.

As far as me proving anything, I don't feel the need to validate my beliefs.

Well... there is often a wide chasm between "beliefs" and "fact."

But I understand. Using your logic, seeing as you can't validate your beliefs I don't "feel" the need to believe them as "fact."

Show me some authoritative documentation on this and I'll be happy to admit I'm wrong. At this point, however, I have to say that it is my belief... that YOU... are wrong.

I spent about 30 minutes today looking all over the net for something to corroborate your assertion... and I simply can't find it.

I asked my host (Pair.com) about this issue and they said:

Typically, mail hosts such as Yahoo and Hotmail will defer mail rather than delete it from their queues.

Thanks,

"Doveryai, no proveryai."

After Reagan used the phrase at the signing of the INF Treaty, his counterpart Mikhail Gorbachev responded: "You repeat that at every meeting," to which Reagan answered "I like it." - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

thanks Al I'll get right on getting that proof for you, my primary goal in life is to validate myself to you, by the way "defer" isn't a good thing.

Sorry you are upset.
