How long does it take for backlinks to start showing up. I have submitted several links on different websites and directories but I am only showing 9. My website has been live for about a month now

Depends on the sites that you have submitted tp.

If they have a follow or no follow tag.

If the sites you submitted to have been crawled by the search engines yet, and your link found.

If the site you submitted to has approved your submission yet.

These are a few of the factors involved.
