I do it at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. I like extra crispy. If you don't want it so crispy, don't leave it in as long.

I like the oven because I don't have to watch it, I can cook more at once and grease doesn't splatter everywhere. I've been doing it this way for years.

I do 400 for 20 - 22 minutes depending on the thickness of the bacon

Yup, that’s the one. To his credit, he references someone else as the creator of the system. I think Columbo as the originator of the concept. My memory isn’t that good.

I think Reg Park and Bill Starr..could've been Columbo too.

I have to buy a new bacon platter this year. The ridges are cool at first but impossible to keep clean long term, especially since it doesn't fit in any sink.
