Louis, you and I are showing 51 pages because we are set to see the max posts per page, which I think is set to 30. Monkey has his set to show 10 posts per page.

Last night I stopped at a Buc-ee's station. (Texans know what I'm talking about! But for you easterners, it's a Wawa on steroids. A convenience store the size of a Walmart filled with many tasty proprietary wonders!) While there, I picked up some fresh jerky along with a half-pound link of venison/pork sausage. I sampled both before buying, and they were delicious! I didn't think about checking ingredients. But when I got home, I noticed sodium nitrite on the sausage label, and MSG in the jerky. I usually avoid both of those if I can, but most commercially available pork products contain nitrite (It's actually what turns it pink, I'm told) to fight off botulism. What's your opinion of these "natural" substances?

What is really concerning is that most everyone that has posted here have had children.... Lord have mercy.
