BACON IS FOR CLOSERS...

Headed to my second pot of coffee this morning. Anyone else doing a 2fer?

No coffee for me! I had a heart scare (all is fine), so I decided to cut back on anxiety inducing substances. So, the cigarettes have been gone for years, pretty much the same for alcohol (and all other drugs). Just me and my bacon! that's all that's left. Oh, and the women that come and go, still looking for the superstar... lol.

Glad your scare wasn't permanent in anyway. Clogged arteries or just some high BP?

As to the women in your life, you'll know you have the right one, when she offers to cook your bacon for you.

Me... I somehow got on peach of a bacon cooker! She's my superstar. :wubclub:

Fortunately none of the above for the heart. Just my high strung nature, have to relax more. That doesn't come easy for me. They sent me for the calcium cardio exam and I'm good as gold. Still have zero medications. I give all the credit to my fatty, bacon based diet.

I'll keep an eye out for that bacon cooker!

My bacon cooker hardly cooks me bacon anymore after I had a couple of mild strokes. I miss bacon.

Sorry to hear you have lost your bacon privileges. That really sucks!

But your bacon cooker loves you and now spends her time lacing your shoes up so you can get out an do some walking. You haven't finished your "honey do list" yet, and she wants to keep you around for the odd jobs here and there. ;)

Mine stopped making bread so much. She knows it reeks havoc on my BP... not to mention it also has "additional" effects to my waist line.

It's not going to be for everyone but I recently got into MUD water. It's basically mushroom tea (normal mushrooms, GoIllini, not what you're thinking) with a bunch of other healthy shit.

I still drink 1 cup of coffee per day but then switch to this stuff.

It takes some getting used to but very little caffeine and still keeps me alert. It may be placebo but whatever, still works.

Some people say it tastes more like dirt but I like the flavor. Some people also say coffee tastes like dirt.

You know how opinions are...

I asked my heart doctor about drinking coffee. He said no problem, just speeds your heart up which what we are trying to do when we have you exercise.. So, now I exercise several times daily!
