Bad Agent Advice Re: ACA

I never know if it really is a spelling error, or just an agent who really doesn't understand the law.

Well Tater, the term has been part of the law for almost 20 years so when someone says credible instead of creditable (two entirely different words and definitions) I just assume they have not been paying attention and it makes me wonder what else they have missed.

First thing would be to get the recomendation on paper. Next ask her what if she needs medical attention tomorrow.

If she needs coverage, then she needs coverage. If something happens you know she is going to come after someonone.

If she plans to wait then document everything. CYA

Don't you mean the Patient Protection Affordable Care Act? I am just so giddy about Oct 1st. I wish it were tomorrow. Haven't felt like this since I was a kid waiting for Christmas.

I know... I have a moving box full of leads all ready to roll.... cant wait.... no longer being forced to tell someone they cant get coverage makes me sleep better... I am happy now

also, I don't know nor do I care if its credible, cretitable or crumable.... we all knew what he ment..... details are for those opposed to a well oiled insurance machine

This.

It always baffles me that agents mix up these words. Like you say, two completely different words with different meanings. Usage of one over the other is not a spelling mistake, it's an understanding mistake.
